Yes, or at least they think they are. Watching the news about the files being made public, i got thinking about something.

Could the release of the files actually backfire/work against them?

I saw two reports which went into details about Mrs mccann not answering her questions, and then the details of the bedroom etc.

Could these details, now that they are been released, finally show others that all is not right with this whole thing.

Whats others opinions on this?

I think the problem is the press/media are just picking things out of the files that are sympathetic to the McCanns, as they have been the last 14 or so months. We now have the McCanns and Pinko being furious about not be told about "sightings", but we all know they have never been interested in sightings before. Also when is someone going to have the balls to start asking them the REAL questions? ie.. how about asking Pinko or the gruesome twosome to comment on....

PAMELA FENN lives on the first floor of the residential block, above the apartment occupied by the McCANN family. She related that, on 1 May 2007, two days before the disappearance, at about 22h30, she heard a child crying, which by the sound was MADELEINE. The child continued weeping for one hour and 15 minutes, until the parent’s arrival (she heard the door sounds), at about 23h45. This witness places in cause the allegation (by the parents) of the daily routine of visits every 30 minutes to check the children who had been left on their own.

We have to remember most of the real stuff is only on the internet, most of the mainstream media are still sucking up to "poor Kate and Gerry" (yuk)

edited for todays offering.. poor kates sobbing letter...

McCann's plea to police revealed

Kate McCann pleaded with Portuguese police to be kept informed about the hunt for her daughter, it has emerged.
A December 2007 letter from Mrs McCann, of Rothley, Leicestershire, to police said a lack of communication between officers and her family was "torture".

just maybe they could have communicated a little better if they had stayed in Portugal

I agree Pete, that the media are picking out "the seen in the best light bits".

The bottom line is they left the children alone, this is their fault, just like everything hereafter is their fault. No one else is to blame but them. They should stick that on the news.

One day last week(not far from us), when it was very hot, a couple left their 10 month baby daughter in the car with the windows up, while they toddled off to shop. South Yorks police were called, they were arrested, and charged with child neglect.

That is the least what should have happened to the Mccanns, after all it is apparently punishable under Portuguese law is it not?

mog.. apparently in Portugal for a case of neglect there has to be .. INTENT

The Portuguese police could not prove the McCanns deliberately left their kids with the intention of them coming to harm.

If it had happened in the UK I'm sure the outcome would be the same.. they'd walk away with those smirks on their ugly faces. Fingers crossed those smirks will be wiped off one day!
